Okay, I've been working on this little painting for three days now.  I'm really happy that I was patient with it because I love the way it turned out.  I even had a nightmare last night that my daughter decided to paint on it and she "changed" it considerably :)  If you're reading this, I'd love to hear what you think about it.

  1. Love the abstract quality, the way you laid paint down. beautiful. My eye does go to the green leaves as the area of highest contrast.

  2. Love the composition, a fabulous painting, rich strokes and beautiful colors ...specially the shade of green is very appealing.

    1. Thanks Julie! I never know what I"ll be doing next... but I love the feeling and mood of this one. It seems the brushes I use decide on the outcome of the painting.
